The FCC “requires telecom companies to secure their networks from communications interception and unlawful access”.

I guess they were nothing but public open ports with “help yourself” signs before the FCC got involved.

Does this mean telecom companies are finally able to secure their networks from the FBI, NSA, and other nefarious federal agencies?
